The same boat twice

The morning is sold as a half day when someone rings for a full day on the same Saturday. In the calendar on your phone it's easy to miss.

Emails before every trip

Every trip starts with questions about the date, numbers and price. Answering takes the evening, and sometimes the customer has already decided on something else.

Gift cards in a folder

Gift cards are sold by Swish in December and written on a list. In May you search the list to see whether a card has already been used.

Trips and boats

One price per boat, half day or full day

Half and full days are separate trips with a fixed price per booking, whether two or four people are fishing. The boats are counted together, so once a full day is booked the half day on that boat can't be.

Guides and the day

See which guide takes which trip

The day's list shows each trip with the anglers, extras and the customer's comment, and you put a guide on every trip. During the closed season you close those days so nobody can book them.

Payment

Paid at booking, gift cards included

Customers pay by Swish or card when they book, and the money goes to your own Stripe account. Gift cards are sold on your website and used when the recipient books their trip, and companies taking their clients out get an invoice from Denira.

Common questions

Can the price cover the whole boat rather than each person?

Yes. You set a fixed price per booking and a minimum and maximum number of people, say one to four. The price stays the same however many come along.

Can half and full days share the same boat?

Yes. The boat is added as a resource and linked to both trips. Once a full day is booked, nobody can book a half day on the same boat that day.

Can customers choose which guide they fish with?

Not in the booking yet. You put a guide on the trip once it's booked, and the customer can write a request in the comment.

Can we take a deposit when a trip is booked?

No, part payment isn't available yet. Customers pay for the whole trip when they book, or you send an invoice or a payment link.
