A board can go out six times on a sunny day. On a paper list it's hard to see which hour still has boards left.

Guests walk up and ask whether a board is free in half an hour. The person who should answer is busy helping someone in the water.

With an offshore wind you can't send beginners out. Everyone booked for the afternoon needs to know before they drive to the beach.

Guests book a free board straight from their phone

The booking on your website only shows sessions with boards left, in Swedish or English. The board is held while the guest pays, so two guests can't buy the same hour.

Close the afternoon and tell the guests at once

When the wind turns, you close the rest of the day or just certain times. The day's list shows who has booked, and you email or text them before they leave home.

Payment

Paid before the board goes down to the water

Guests pay by Swish or card, and the money goes to your Stripe account. The campsite or hotel next door can hand its guests a discount code, and companies booking SUP for their staff get an invoice from Denira.

Common questions

Can SUP lessons and rentals use the same boards?

Yes. The lesson is sold with fixed start times and the rental with a length the guest picks, and both count from the same boards. Boards in use on a lesson can't be rented out at the same time.

How do we handle wetsuits in different sizes?

Add each size as its own extra with its own count. The booking has no separate question about size, but guests can write in the comment field.

Can guests already on the beach book?

Yes. They book on your website on their phone and pay by Swish. You can also enter the booking yourself and let the guest pay on site.

What do we do when it's too windy?

You close one time, the rest of the day or the whole rental and send a message to everyone who has booked. Each booking is then cancelled and refunded on its own in Denira.

Can guests cancel on their own if the weather looks bad?

Only if you allow it on the experience and the guest bought cancellation protection when booking. Otherwise you cancel or rebook for them.
