The forecast turns the evening before and the nine o'clock lesson can't go ahead. Now twelve guests need to hear about it, one by one, from a list on your phone.

Boards counted twice

The same boards and wetsuits are used for lessons and for rentals. When they're booked in separate calendars, someone ends up on the beach without a board.

Tourists message you in English asking about free times and prices. You answer when you're back from the water with a group.

Each lesson has a set number of places, and boards and wetsuits are added as equipment shared by lessons and rentals. Guests only see times with both a place and a board left.

When the wind is wrong, you close a lesson or the whole day and send a text or email to everyone who has booked. The day's list shows every lesson with its participants, instructor and the guests' notes on wetsuit size.

Guests pay by Swish or card when they book, and the money goes to your own Stripe account. School classes and companies surfing as a group get an invoice from Denira, with reminders.

Common questions

Can we sell a surf course over several days as one booking?

Not today. A booking covers one time, so you sell single lessons and day courses. A guest who wants to surf on several days books one lesson per day.

How do we know which wetsuit a guest needs?

Guests write their height and size in the comment field when they book, and the comment shows next to the lesson in the day's list. Your own questions in the booking, such as a size field, aren't available yet.

Can guests rent a board and wetsuit without a lesson?

Yes. You set up the rental as its own experience where the guest chooses how long to rent for. It counts from the same boards as the lessons.

Can guests move their lesson when we call it off?

Yes, if the lesson allows rebooking and the guest bought rebooking protection when booking. They then pick a new time through the link in their confirmation. Otherwise you cancel and refund the booking in Denira.

Can we show a notice on a certain day, for example during a competition on the beach?

Yes. You add a notice to the date that guests see in the booking, and close the times that can't be booked.
